Copa America Centenario continues, but the MLS break is over with us returning to duty this evening at home to Chicago Fire (TICKETS), with another capacity crowd expected at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.
The team were in action on Tuesday, of course, in round four of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Dillon Serna’s late strike booked our place in the last 16 of that competition, which means a trip to FC Dallas on June 29. Victory was great and maintains our unbeaten record at home in all competitions. It was also wonderful to see Marco Pappa back in burgundy, having missed several games through injury.
