Having humbled Houston and leveled late against New York City, the Colorado Rapids may need to step it up another notch this Saturday as they travel to Western Conference leaders Vancouver Whitecaps FC (Altitude 8:00 p.m.)
This will be a fifth road trip from the last six games, and is against a Whitecaps side that is unbeaten in six, and a point clear of Portland Timbers, Sporting Kansas City, and Seattle Sounders FC (STANDINGS).
The Whitecaps will be without central defender and man-mountain Kendall Waston. The Costa Rica international, who has scored three of his 10 MLS goals against the Rapids, is serving a one-game ban due to yellow card accumulation.
