Having achieved their main target, Colorado Rapids are now looking to create regular season history.
One point at Houston on Saturday will give them their highest ever tally, two will provide their best points-per-game average, three will mean they have won a record-equaling 14 games (post-shootout era).
But more importantly, a victory will secure them second place in the Western Conference, their highest finish in franchise history, and afford them significant advantages in the 2016 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs later this month.
And, if Rapids follow it with three more wins, they would lift the Supporters’ Shield.
