Sports Illustrated is honoring Broomfield standout midfielder Porter Milner as SI’s high school athlete of the month for March 2016. U.S soccer stud and Colorado Rapids midfielder Jermaine Jones will present the award to Milner during halftime of the varsity girls soccer game that begins at 6:30 p.m. against Mountain Range.

Milner was named the state’s best boys soccer player in February with a nod from Gatorade, and the Regis-bound senior helped lead the Eagles to back-to-back Class 5A soccer titles in 2014 and 2015.
