The Colorado Rapids and LA Galaxy played for the second time in 2016 tonight in Carson, California and were able to scratch out a 0-0 draw with the Galaxy to stretch their unbeaten run to 11 games. With the result, the Rapids are 9-2-5 (32 points, 2.0 PPG) and still top of top of the league and are off from MLS play until July 4.
The first half was a relatively quiet 45 minutes as the Rapids were a bit slow out of the gates and looked to be content to soak up pressure from the Galaxy and try and hit on the counter.
