This week, I have been spending a lot of time playing Dark Souls. For those of you who don’t know, it’s a video game where every single enemy, and especially every single boss, is likely to kill you. Where you can go up against a single giant boss monster dozens and dozens of times, learning new tricks to get further and further every time, but still fail over and over and over until eventually, you finally get one up on them… only to be met with a new, even greater foe.
