Former Rapids player and Head Coach Pablo Mastroeni named assistant coach with Houston Dynamo

The Houston Dynamo announced this morning that former Colorado Rapids player and Head Coach Pablo Mastroeni would be joining the club as an assistant coach. Houston recently named Tab Ramos as their new head coach after firing Wilmer Cabrera and Mastroeni joins former U.S. U-20 Men’s National Team assistant coach Omid Namazi. Ramos was the head coach for the USMNT U-20s from 2011-2019, which gives Houston a coaching staff with significant national team experience, both from the playing and coaching perspectives.

“I am very excited to announce that two such experienced coaches, who are even better human beings, are joining the club to continue to build the family that is the Houston Dynamo,” said Ramos.
