One of Denver’s best-known semi-pro teams announced today that they were launching a competitive U19 squad.
Club General Manager Luke Elbin said, “the addition of a U19 team provides a home for young adult players looking to continue their professional-track development within our club environment. These players will have opportunities to train with and against our top men’s players with an eye towards promoting players into our top team or onward to the collegiate level or other elite playing opportunities.”
The men’s team will focus on 17-19 year-olds, and those who make the squad will have the opportunity to train and compete with the first team.
