The Colorado Rapids missed the playoffs for the third straight season, but the future looks bright if a recent list is to be believed.
Colorado landed two players — midfielder Cole Bassett and defender Sam Vines — on the MLS 22 Under 22 rankings, which were unveiled Tuesday and Wednesday.
Bassett, 18, signed a homegrown contract with the team in 2018 and appeared in 20 games last season (14 starts), recording two goals and two assists.
