One important moment, spread across two states, and neatly tucked into a space of 24 hours; that is the Development Academy quarterfinals, involving both teams from the Colorado Rapids.
Both the U18s and U16s have reached this stage in the same season for the first time in club history, and both are on the road in their respective encounters.
Even more impressive is that, of all the hopefuls which began this journey in the Fall of 2016, just three MLS programs advanced to both the U-15/16 and U-17/18 quarterfinals: Colorado Rapids, Seattle Sounders FC and Real Salt Lake AZ.
