The 2016 Copa America Centenario got underway under blistering skies in Santa Clara, California as the United States Men's National Team and Colombia got the tournament underway.
Here is our recap of day one and how to watch day two:
United States 0:2 Colombia
Ugh. In a performance that can only be described as "uninspired" the United States lost to Colombia in California last night. Colombia was powered by two first half goals from Cristian Zapata and James Rodriguez and cruised the rest of the way.
The United States generated just two shots on target (both from Seattle Sounders forward Clint Dempsey) over the 90 minutes and struggled to put a coherent attack together during the match.
