What started out as an exciting evening with Tim Howard starting for Colorado Rapids ended up with the Rapids drawing the Portland Timbers 0-0.
Howard did come up with two big saves, and that is why the Rapids got him. But he was also helped by the post a couple times.
The main problem tonight was the anaemic offense. There was limited movement. It didn't help Portland was dropping eight or nine players. The one thing I noticed was the Portland players were quicker to the ball in the attacking half. That does not bode well for the offense of the Rapids.
