The Colorado Rapids went on the road and put up a heroic effort and tied the Los Angeles Galaxy 0–0. Some may say they were unlucky not to get a victory against the Galaxy.
This was not a boring 0–0 draw. There was some good action, questionable officiating, and some excellent goal keeping. Brian Rowe for the Galaxy and Zac MacMath for the Rapids made some excellent saves to keep this match scoreless.
Marlon Hairston had two good opportunities for the Rapids and he was stoned both times by Rowe who was in a good position.
