The Colorado Rapids went on the road Saturday and tied the Columbus Crew 1–1. The Rapids, looking tired since this was the third match in a seven days, were able to continue their unbeaten streak.
The Columbus Crew scored first in this match. In the 23rd minute, Cedrick was able to get one past Zac MacMatch after a scramble in the Rapids box. The entire Rapids backline and defensive midfielders all dropped off and left him wide open just inside the 18 yard box. It could have been better on the defensive end for the Rapids.
