The Rapids are in Memphis, Tennessee today for an exhibition match against Tulsa Roughnecks FC at AutoZone Park. Rapids Goalkeeper Tim Howard, a Memphis resident, has been a USL Memphis advisor since its unveiling in January. As part of the exhibition match, USL Memphis will also be unveiling their new logo and brand identity.
Tonight’s match between the Rapids and Roughnecks FC will mark the first professional outdoor soccer match in Memphis since 1980. Tulsa Roughnecks FC, a future league foe of USL Memphis starting next season, was founded in 2013 and began play in the USL in 2015.
