The Colorado Rapids finally (and somewhat surprisingly) got a win last week in Frisco vs. FC Dallas, and Rapids faithful breathed a collective sigh of relief. That was a HUGE win for the Burgundy Boys, not only because Dallas had been unbeaten at home, but also because the Rapids desperately needed the points to stay in the race for the top of both the Western Conference and the Supporters’ Shield standings. The win in Dallas was just what the team needed to get back on track after a rough couple of months.
This week, it’s the Rapids turn to defend their unbeaten streak at DSGP, against a San Jose side that is sitting in 8th place in the conference with 33 points.
