The Colorado Rapids return to the friendly confines of Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Sunday to play for it all in the second leg of the Western Conference playoffs. The Rapids are down 0-1 after conceding a 2nd half goal to Giovani dos Santos of the LA Galaxy in the first leg at the StubHub Center in Los Angeles. Colorado defender Axel Sjoberg tried to redirect the shot, but inadvertently ended up heading the ball past Tim Howard and into the corner of the goal.
The Rocky Mountain side are confident they can overcome the aggregate score, as they went unbeaten during the regular season at home.
