The Colorado Rapids Special Olympics Unified team heads to Houston for their final match of the 2017 season this Saturday, September 9 at BBVA Compass Stadium against Special Olympics Texas. The match will take place at 8 a.m. MT prior to the first match Saturday evening.
The city of Houston has been recovering since Hurricane Harvey made landfall on Texas' southeastern coast on August 25. The Rapids Unified team have recognized that this trip and match are about much more than a game.
