The draw for the 4th round of the U.S. Open Cup happened this morning and the Colorado Rapids will be hosting the USLC’s New Mexico United. The 4th round takes place on June 11-12 and more details will be released later today.
NMU beat the Colorado Springs Switchbacks 2-1 yesterday, apparently after what many considered a controversial penalty call. The ESPN+ broadcast team called it the “softest of penalties” and after the game, Switchbacks Head Coach Steve Trittschuh said “the guys know what happened. We got screwed. What else can I say?
