The Colorado Rapids announced today that they had acquired Albanian Striker Shkëlzen Gashi as a Designated Player who will begin playing for the Burgundy Boys for the 2016 season. This is a significant move for the Rapids as they were in dire need of attacking options and Gashi should fill a hole for the team.
So what do we know about him?
1) He Can Score--Since 2012 he has made 127 appearances for his club teams and has scored 66 times.
2) A Designated Striker--this is the second major attacking option the Rapids have added in the last nine months.
