In a year littered with franchise highs, the Colorado Rapids have set a new record for regular season attendances at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.
Their 17-game home campaign was concluded on October 23 when 18,446 spectators saw the Supporters' Shield decider against Houston Dynamo. This was the second highest crowd of 2016, only bettered by the 18,759 who witnessed Tim Howard's MLS return on July 4.
On average, 16,278 people attended each of the Rapids' MLS games, a jump of four percent on last season and eight percent on 2014.
Over the campaign, their cumulative attendance was 276,721.
