Colorado Rapids season player ratings: Forwards

If there was an Achilles heel for the Colorado Rapids, it was the attack. They had trouble scoring when they needed to. Forwards only had 24 goals, though I think at least 12 of those came when the player was playing a midfield role.

Shkelzen Gashi led the Rapids in scoring with nine goals followed by Kevin Doyle and Dominique Badji who each scored six. Luis Solignac scored three goals before being traded to the Chicago Fire.

Of the players listed as a forward, Kevin Doyle played most of the time as a striker, while the others spent most of their season as a midfielder.
