Colorado Rapids announced today that starting Wednesday, March 2, the club will collaborate with Delta Dental of Colorado for their Sorpresa (surprise) program designed to reach local underserved children.
Denver metro area elementary schools can apply for a Sorpresa prize package, which will include a Rapids player visit, Rapids mascot appearance, Delta Dental Tooth Fairy appearance, a voucher to a Rapids home match as well as Rapids and Delta Dental of Colorado prize packs.
All elementary school classrooms are eligible to nominate themselves or another room explaining why they should be selected. Submissions are due by Monday, March 28.
