The Rapids take on the Sounders for the second time in 2016 in what has turned into a complete role reversal.
Over the last several years looking at the Major League Soccer table has held a couple of truths:
1) The Western Conference is usually the better conference
2) And Seattle Sounders are usually in front of Colorado Rapids in that Western Conference table.
And then 2016 happened. In 2016 the Burgundy Boys are 11 points better than Seattle.
Just like we all predicted.
But as the Rapids head up to the Emerald City to take on the Sounders this weekend, the Rapids have a great chance to extend their lead in the West whereas Seattle can claw closer to the red line and a playoff place.
