Major League Soccer leading Colorado Rapids announced two roster moves today as Goalkeeper Chris Froschauer and midfielder Emmanuel Appiah were waived.
From the Rapids announcement:
"On behalf of the club, I would like to thank Emmanuel and Chris for their service and wish them well in their future soccer careers," said Paul Bravo, VP of Soccer Operations and Technical Director.
These two moves are not a gigantic surprise as neither player had featured for the Rapids this season with Froschauer serving as the backup goalkeeper for all 16 MLS matches and 2 US Open Cup matches.
