The Colorado Rapids faced a tough road test in L.A. on Wednesday with a depleted squad. In a match where both sides were missing key players due to injury, suspension or international commitments, players stepped up all over the field for the Rapids to claim another clean sheet and a big road point.

Both teams were pretty even in number of chances recording five shots on target and three shots blocked each. Goalkeeper Brian Rowe was forced into five saves while Zac MacMath had to make four.

What was important for the Rapids was to be able to continue with the defensive mentality that has seen them only give up 11 goals so far this season while shuffling their backline personnel.
