It didn’t look good when Colorado Rapids’ Bismark Adjei-Boateng was undercut by Real Salt Lake’s Luke Mulholland last week. He landed on his lower back and started writhing in pain. He left the field with the medical staff, who massaged his back a bit on the sideline. Nana quickly went back in and was involved in the goal.
But shortly after the goal, he went down again, and was subbed out in the 32nd minute.
We’ve been waiting to hear news about Nana since then, and this morning the Colorado Rapids announced that he would be out for 8-10 weeks with a fractured three lumbar vertebrae.
