The Colorado Rapids Development Academy U-12s won the Generation adidas Cup U-12 competition on Sunday, capping their run to the title with a 3-0 win over FC Dallas in the final.
This was the first iteration of the U-12 competition that did not take place during the Under-17 tournament in Frisco, Tex. Instead, the U-12's competed over Thanksgiving weekend in Atlanta. Sporting Kansas City won the U-12 competition back in March. 14 MLS teams competed with 12 affiliate teams taking part in a separate competition.
