The Rapids are coming off a 5-0 win over USL League Two side Ventura County Fusion in a 60-minute abbreviated match. Newcomers Nicolás Mezquida and Diego Rubio each scored a brace, while Andre Shinyashiki tallied a goal of his own. Head coach Anthony Hudson was pleased with the overall performance and the improvements the team made between the first preseason match to the second.
