BOULDER - Senior Joey Young was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 At-Large team Thursday, becoming the first CU skier honored by the organization since 2015.
Young holds a cumulative 3.85 grade point average from the Leeds School of Business, majoring in both Accounting and Finance. He has been named to the National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team three times, was named to the PAC-12 Academic Honor Roll and earned the Male Senior Scholar Athlete Award, given to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA at Colorado. He was also given the department's prestigious Ceal Barry Leadership Award in 2021.
