Women’s Golf In Eighth At Cougar Cup

PULLMAN, Wash. — The University of Colorado women's golf team started off the Washington State University Cougar Cup on a good note on Monday, carding its best team round (289) of the season and is currently eighth with a 4-over 580 (289-291).

"It was a very long, cold day and there was rain the last few holes," head coach Anne Kelly said. "The team members really fought hard, but unfortunately we made too many errors, especially on the par-5s."

Oregon State is the team leader after recording a 13-under 563 at the 6,239-yard par 72 Palouse Ridge Golf Course.
