RENO, Nev. — Quniessa Caylao-Do scored a game-high 16 points, and the University of Colorado overcame a 10-point deficit to beat Nevada on Friday night to open the Nevada Nugget Classic.
It's the Buffaloes' first 4-0 start since CU won its first 10 games of the 2016-17 season.
Caylao-Do went 7-of-8 from the field and snagged six rebounds. Alexis Robinson finished with 11 points, matching her season high, while Kennedy Leonard totaled nine points to go with five rebounds and seven assists.
Jade Redmon, Terae Briggs and Essence Booker scored 11 points apiece to pace Nevada (1-3), which shot only 30.
