Wichhart-Donzo in Second After First Day of Pac-12

TUSCON – The University of Colorado track and field program senior Maja Wichhart-Donzo is in second in the Pac-12 Championships heptathlon after the first day of competition in Tucson.

The senior started off the competition Saturday with a pair of first place finishes in the high jump and the 200-meter dash. She is 41 points behind the leader, Hannah Rusnak of Washington, after Wichhart-Donzo scored 3,381 points. Michaela Wenning is in fourth with 3,241 points and Drianna Mustin is in 10th with 3,003 points.

Also in the men's decathlon, Josh Farmer is fourth in the competition with 3,759 points after the first day of competition.
