COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Former University of Colorado and All-Pac-12 Conference guard Derrick White has been named one of 44 finalists for the 2020 U.S. Olympic Men's Basketball Team, USA Basketball announced Monday.
White, in his third year with the NBA's San Antonio Spurs, helped Team USA to a seventh-place finish at the 2019 FIBA World Cup last fall. He is averaging 9.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 50 games with the Spurs this season.
Only two Buffaloes have played on a U.S. Olympic Men's Basketball team.
