COLORADO SPRINGS – The University of Colorado women's volleyball team's libero Rachel Whipple has been named to the U.S. Women's Collegiate National Team's Anaheim roster, USA Volleyball announced Monday afternoon.
"I find this honor to be both very rewarding and humbling," said Whipple. "A lot of hours have been put in and a lot of sacrifices have been made to play volleyball, so it's rewarding to be recognized. But it's also humbling to be chosen when there were so many great players at the tryouts. I am very grateful and excited for this opportunity.
