Weather Causes Delays At Wyoming Invite

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The 2021 NCAA Cross Country season was set to begin on Friday evening for the University of Colorado at the Wyoming Invitational but due to a few delays caused by heavy rain and lightning, only Colorado's women were able to compete.

The men's team will have to return to the Little America Golf Course Saturday to run their 5-kilometer race at 7:30 a.m.

The women's race was delayed 30 minutes due to rain and after the race, heavy rain returned. That weather pushed back the entry of results, which were still not available at the time of this release.
