It was an interesting winter for Richard Roby.
For the first time in his life Roby was able to spend most the winter at home, which was a pleasant surprise for his family. Yet not having a basketball season to soldier through proved to be an odd adjustment.
Roby finally will get that basketball fix satisfied this month as he fills a spot once again on the roster of Team Colorado in the $2 million The Basketball Tournament. Roby is one of the former Colorado Buffaloes standouts who have been on all four editions of the annual alumni team, though over the past two years injuries have derailed Roby's contributions.
