McDermott, Biwer To Play In New Jersey Next Month
BOULDER — The top two freshman on last season's University of Colorado men's golf team have continued their run of success by both qualifying for next month's U.S. Amateur in New Jersey. The top two in the field advanced.
Dylan McDermott finished second in qualifying at Rancho Murietta (Calif.) Country Club with a 68-71—139 (-5) effort, one stroke off the lead. He was tied for third, one stroke back after his morning round, but he and Zachery Pollo caught and passed both of those players just four holes into the second round.
