BOULDER - CU soccer opened the 2019 NCAA Tournament with its best performance in postseason history and that first-round matchup against Northern Colorado became an easy choice for CU's top competitions for 2019-20. The Buffs did not take their sub-.500 opponent lightly and went on to a 6-0 win over the Bears to advance to the second round.
The six goals were the most ever scored in a postseason game for CU and their 18 points (six goals, six assists) were also a school record. It was an afternoon of complete domination at Prentup Field as CU outshot UNC 24-6.
