BOULDER - This week, the UCHealth CU Athlete of the week goes to Jalen Tompkins. Over the weekend at Prentup Field, the goalkeeper led her Buffaloes to two shutouts, racking up 15 saves along the way. On Thursday she stopped four shots in a 3-0 victory over Arizona State. Tompkins made a season-high 11 saves in a scoreless draw with Arizona on Sunday, including nine saves in the second half and overtime. The Buffs goalie has been impressing all year, while adding two shutouts to her resume this weekend. The standout Buff stopped a breakaway in the 54th minute against Arizona and saved a free kick from the top of the box two minutes later.
