The Rise: Buffaloes Sign Two Junior College Transfers

BOULDER – Head coach of the 10-ranked Colorado Buffaloes announced Wednesday that nose tackle and cornerback have signed National Letters of Intent with the Buffs.

Both are junior college transfers and will enroll at CU for the 2017 Spring semester. Wigley will have three years to complete his three remaining seasons of eligibility remaining while Edwards has three years left to complete his two remaining seasons of eligibility.

The duo will help bolster the Buffalo defense that will graduate eight defensive starters from their 2016 team that went 10-3, won the Pac-12 South Division title and enters the Dec.
