BOULDER — Sydney Givens, one of the top junior golfers in the state of Texas, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play golf and continue her education at the University of Colorado in 2024-25 head coach Anne Kelly announced on Wednesday.
Givens is a senior at Vandegrift High School in Austin, Texas, where last spring she led the Vipers to the school's first Texas State Girls Golf Championship. She was the individual runner-up at the 2023 State Championship, taking second in a playoff.
Givens was the 2022 Texas Individual State Champion as a sophomore, helping the Vipers to their second-straight 6A runner-up finish.
