The Colorado Buffaloes’ alumni will compete in The Basketball Tournament for the fifth (?) time in as many years. Team Colorado, as they are called, have hopes of winning a 64-team, single-elimination tournament, and along with the title, a $2 million grand prize.
In the first three iterations of the Tournament, Team Colorado was one of the elite teams. With Marcus Hall running the show as arguably the most unstoppable player in the competition, the Buffs alumni toughed out win and win. In the second year of TBT, that team made a wild run for the championship game, and even had a huge lead in the final before collapsing to 4-time champs Overseas Elite.
