The Colorado Buffaloes are losing assistant coach Taylor Embree to the NFL. According to reports, CU’s tight end coach is heading back to the league to reportedly join Robert Saleh’s New York Jets staff as the running backs coach.
The former defensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers, was hired to take over head coach duties for the Jets last week. Saleh’s first head coaching position in the NFL after serving as an assistant for four different teams.
The 32-year old Embree joined Karl Dorrell as one the first hires on his staff 11 months ago.
