BOULDER - Lacrosse attacker Miranda Stinson and men's basketball guard McKinley Wright IV were named the CU Athletes of the Week, presented by Arrow, for the period of Feb. 11-17.
Miranda Stinson, a senior from Manakin Sabot, Va., played a complete game for the Buffs offensively and defensively against Virginia Tech. She recorded four goals in the win, including three in the first 10 minutes of play. She also added two assists for six points in the game. But she didn't just stop there, she led the Buffs with three caused turnovers, including one where she picked off a pass and finished the fast break with a goal.
