SAN FRANCISCO – Colorado junior Jaylyn Sherrod earned her first career Pac-12 Conference Player of the Week honor the league announced on Monday.
Sherrod, a Birmingham, Ala., native, led the newly ranked No. 22 Buffaloes to CU's first-weekend sweep of USC and UCLA. She averaged 20.0 points, 8.0 assists and 3.5 rebounds as the Buffs improved to 13-0 overall and stand as the only unbeaten DI team in the NCAA.
Sherrod helped guide the shorthanded Buffs to a 71-58 win over the Trojans to start the weekend. She registered 15 points and handed out eight assists.
