BOULDER – Colorado graduate students Jaylyn Sherrod and Quay Miller were two of 50 players added to the 2024 Naismith Women's College Player of the Year, the Atlanta Tipoff Club announced on Friday.
Named in honor of Dr. James Naismith, inventor of the game of basketball, the Naismith Trophy recognizes the top Men's and Women's College Basketball Players of the Year.
Sherrod, also a 2024 Lieberman Award Watch List candidate and Preseason All-Pac-12 selection, started all 33 games for the Buffs last season and was an All-Pac-12 and All-Defensive selection in 2023.
