BOULDER — Colorado fans see the interceptions, inaccurate throws and fumbles by Sefo Liufau and have to wonder what's wrong with him. Then they hear former CU great Chad Brown say the junior quarterback has "taken a step back" after a record-breaking season a year ago.
Perhaps they haven't noticed the beating he has taken behind a young offensive line in which injuries have forced a shuffing of positions.
Liufau was sacked eight times last week in a 48-23 loss at Arizona State. He was sacked five times the week before in a 41-24 loss to Oregon.
