BOULDER - Gabby Scott from Track and Field and skier Alvar Alev were named the CU Athletes of the Week presented by Arrow for the week of Jan. 28 – Feb. 3.
Scott, a senior from San Diego, Calif., Broke a 22-year-old school record in the women's indoor 400 with a time of 53.56 at the Colorado Invitational hosted by CU in Boulder. She then went and was a part of a 4x400 school record team that broke the record by four seconds.
Alev, won the 7.5K men's classic race at the New Mexico Invitational and finished 10th in the 5K freestyle race, his first two top 10 finishes of the season.
