USAFA - Colorado track and field sophomore Tyler Sconce had an extraordinary meet Friday afternoon at the Air Force Collegiate Open when he fouled four of his six attempts in the weight throw but walked away with a huge three-foot personal best mark and the fifth-best throw in school history.
Sconce entered the meet having started the season with three-straight personal bests in the weight throw. Looking for a mark that could send him to the MPSF, Sconce let it fly as he fouled his first attempt before setting a personal best at 17.
